A Bask patisserie identity sitting between west and east.

Context

BASK. is a Japanese Patisserie that makes cakes based on the Basque burnt cheesecake recipe with a Japanese twist. I designed an identity that stems its core concept by cultural exchange between West and East.

Rooted in culture, but expressed in a contemporary way, it moves between influences without reducing them to aesthetic shortcuts.

Bask balances cultural references with a contemporary sensibility, avoiding clichés and building its identity through restraint and detail. A visual language that adapts across contexts and tells the same story.
